The JFK Radiation Oncology program is accredited by the American College

American Pathologists (CAP).
The Haven Hospice program is accredited by JCAHO and is licensed by
Medicare and Medicaid.
Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center
Muhlenber Regional Medical Center diagnoses and/or treats an average of 500 new patients
annually.

Organizations.
The Home Care Department is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health,
accredited by JCAHO and is certified to provide home health services by Medicare and
Medicaid. Services are provided in accordance with physician orders and Medicare/Medicaid or
commercial insurance guidelines. Insurance carriers will be billed directly.
The Breast Center at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center is accredited by the

Cancer Registry
The Cancer Registry is the informational and tracking system used for the
monitoring and reporting of all types of malignant and benign reportable tumors
diagnosed and/or treated at JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional
Medical Center. Cancer Registry data is reported electronically to the New
Jersey State Cancer Registry and annually to the National Cancer Database.
This information is utilized for research, cancer incidence, surveillance,
treatment guidelines and benchmarks.
The Cancer Registry staff is certified with the National Cancer Registrars
Association.
Multidisciplinary Conferences
The Regional Cancer Center's physicians, nurses, counselors and technologists, along with
other staff members, participate in ongoing conferences, during which oncology cases are
brought before a panel of specialists. This multidisciplinary team approach provides patients
with a number of expert perspectives on their cancer and what the best treatment option
might be.
